Marriage License- Wedding Planning Tips

Stay prepared! Before you walk down the aisle, have your wedding coordinator or officiant place your marriage license in your bridal suite or the room you will be going back into following the ceremony. Have it placed in visible site with the pen waiting for your immediate signatures. As soon as you enter back in the room, have your best man and maid of honor or your witnesses sign the document. Ensure your wedding officiant has signed it as well, then have your wedding coordinator or officiant immediately place the license in the car. It is of upmost importance to do so it is not lost or misplaced during the reception. As your marriage license is a legal government document, lost or improperly signed licenses can be a costly mistake requiring you to possible file again and pay additional fees.

Blessings.
